Roz Savage is a British ocean rower, author, motivational speaker and environmental campaigner.
She first came to prominence in 2005, when after 11 years as a management consultant she embarked upon a new life of adventure by rowing solo 3,000 miles across the Atlantic. Now Roz is attempting to become the first woman to row solo across the Pacific. In 2008 she completed Stage 1, becoming the first woman ever to row solo from California to Hawaii. Stage 2 launches in May 2009.
Roz Savage is inviting you to match her 10,000 oarstrokes a day with 10,000 steps.
The combined efforts of her followers will be presented to the global leaders at the climate change conference in Copenhagen in December to say, "Weve done our bit for the environment - now we want you to do yours".
Please upload your steps to our central database at Joes Goals, and do your bit to help us reach our target of 10 million steps. Its easy - just click here.
